Dauphin County Drug and Alcohol Services to Host Summer Series of Sports for Young People on Wednesdays

Young people in elementary, middle or high school are invited to get in the game and play soccer, basketball and volleyball this summer, as Dauphin County's Drug and Alcohol Services hosts a fun, free youth sports series at local parks.

Led by county prevention specialists, these organized sporting events will give young people a positive alternative activity to take part in while school is out. The games and snacks are free. Any elementary, middle, or high school aged youth are welcome to join.

The games will be held at these times and locations:

• June 26 Basketball at 7^th and Radnor -noon to 2 pm

• July 3 Volleyball at City Island (Skyline)-noon to 2 pm

• July 10 Volleyball at City Island (Skyline)-noon to 2 pm

• July 17 Volleyball at City Island (Skyline)-noon to 2 pm

• July 24 Soccer at City Island Skyline Soccer Complex-noon to 2 pm

• July 31 Basketball at 7^th and Radnor-noon to 2 pm

• August 7 Basketball at 7^th and Radnor-noon to 2 pm

• August 14 Basketball at 7^th and Radnor -noon to 2 pm
