MillerKnoll will Debut Research and Designs at 2024 Healthcare Design Conference and Expo

ZEELAND, Mich., Oct 1, 2024 - MillerKnoll (NASDAQ:MLKN) will appear at the 2024 Healthcare Design Conference and Expo (HCD) this year, with plans to showcase new insights and proprietary research on clinical environment planning that helps patients and healthcare professionals achieve positive experiences amid constant change.

MillerKnoll will feature more than 30 healthcare furniture products during the expo, including a new line of reclines and sleep seating from Herman Miller. These latest designs will join a diverse product portfolio intended to meet specific needs across various areas in healthcare facilities and created based on extensive research into the functions that are most impactful for patients and staff.

MillerKnoll's Director of Research, Michelle Ossmann, PhD, MSN, will also conduct an educational session on mitigating nurse burnout. Building on research conducted by HKS, CADRE, and MillerKnoll, the session will explore the fatigue behind rising burnout rates among nurses and provide deeper insights on how the built environment in healthcare and clinical practices can help.

Investing in the next generation of healthcare design leaders

Each year, the MillerKnoll Healthcare Scholarship, in partnership with the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health, sends emerging architects to attend the Healthcare Design Conference and Expo, and provides each recipient with a full conference pass and stipend to support their travel.
