ODOT seeks public comment on U.S. 62 Bridge Rehabilitation in Highland County

Public Comment Period Open for

U.S. 62 Bridge Rehabilitation

CHILLICOTHE - As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation-District 9's Planning Department, the district's Environmental Office is seeking public input for a bridge rehabilitation project on U.S. 62 in Highland County.

HIG-62-17.10 (PID 119779) It is proposed to rehabilitate the bridge on U.S. 62 between Hobart Road and Diamond Drive in Highland County, Ohio. The project is located in the city of Hillsboro.

The project will not require new right-of-way.

No homes or businesses will be removed by the project.

The funding for the project is 80% Federal and 20% State.

The roadway will be open for the duration of the project.

The environmental commitment date is 4/1/2025. The project is currently expected to be awarded 7/1/2025.
