Turf Field renovation ribbon cutting on Oct. 15

Newton County will celebrate newly renovated turf at the Turner Lake and City Pond complexes softball and baseball fields Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. at 6185 Turner Lake Rd NW, Covington.

The turf renovations were part of the Special Purpose Local Option Sales tax approved by voters in 2023.
