Placer/Nevada/Sierra Counties - Caltrans is alerting motorists of various lane closures along Interstate 80 (I-80) leading up to the Fourth of July holiday.
Due to the limited work week, no emergency repairs are scheduled for next week. However, some work is anticipated for the Monte Vista Pavement Rehabilitation Project and Soda Springs Pavement Rehabilitation Project.

Emergency repairs are scheduled to resume after the extended holiday weekend beginning on Sunday, July 7. The schedule is subject to change or be delayed due to weather, availability of materials or other unexpected events.
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to "Be Work Zone Alert" and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
