Campi Flegrei: Undersecretary of State Mantovano signs decree appointing Commissioner Soccodato

Upon the proposal of the Minister for Civil Protection and Marine Policies, Nello Musumeci, Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Alfredo Mantovano signed a Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers yesterday appointing Fulvio Maria Soccodato as special government commissioner for the implementation of public measures in the Campi Flegrei (Plegraean Fields) area.

As provided for by Decree Law no. 91 of 2 July 2024, the Commissioner will be tasked with ensuring the swift completion of seismic retrofitting work on public buildings in the so-called 'intervention area' as well as the functioning of transport infrastructure and the other essential and priority services included in the survey carried out under Campania Regional Executive Decision no. 7 of 10 January 2024.
