Meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil

On July 2, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil (with residence in Moscow) to Uzbekistan.

An exchange of views took place on strengthening political dialogue and interaction within international organizations, as well as increasing cultural, humanitarian, and educational exchanges.

It was noted that the parties attach key importance to the development of trade, economic, investment and technological cooperation. In this context, the sides considered proposals to increase foreign trade indicators and its diversification, organize a visit to Uzbekistan by a trade mission consisting of representatives of large Brazilian companies, and implement mutually beneficial joint projects.
