Pipe Replacement Project to Begin Next Week on Enders Road in Jackson Township, Dauphin County

Long-term detour will be in place through August 31

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Dauphin County will begin a pipe replacement project on Enders Road (Route 4006) in Jackson Township next week. The pipe is located between Route 225 (Armstrong Valley Road) and Creek Drive.

Weather permitting, this work will begin Monday, July 22. Enders Road will be closed to through traffic at the pipe location. A long-term detour will be in place through August 31.

Motorists heading south from north of the closure will be detoured onto Route 225 (Armstrong Valley Road), turn left onto Rutter Road and then left onto Enders Road.

Motorists heading north from south of the closure will be detoured onto Rutter Road, then turn right onto Route 225 (Armstrong Valley Road) and right onto Enders Road.

Access will be maintained to homes and businesses on either side of the closure.
