Longtime Schneider driver achieves remarkable milestone of five million safe miles

GREEN BAY,Wis. (August 13, 2024) - In a remarkable display of dedication and safety, Greg Swift, a longtime driver for Schneider National, Inc. (NYSE: SNDR), has achieved an extraordinary milestone: five million mileswithout a preventable accident.

Althoughmore than 6,560Schneider drivers have had at least a million safe driving miles with the company, Swift joins only two other drivers in Schneider's nearly 90-yearhistoryin reaching this incredible feat. Today, Swift will cross the ceremonial fivemillionth mile at Schneider's corporate headquarters in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The company, a premier multimodal provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services, is recognizing Swift's achievement with a parade, Sound the Horn celebration - a long-standing tradition of sounding a truck horn inside the headquarters building to celebrate achievements- anda $10,000 bonusfor his safe and reliable driving(that's in addition to the years of additional performance pay Swifthas earnedfor his stellar driving record).

To put five million miles into perspective, Swift has completed the equivalent of driving to the moon and backten timeswithout ever having a preventable accident. Swift, who began his career with Schneider 33 years ago after leaving his teaching job, has become a shining example of the company's core value: Safety First and Always.
