City of Burbank Launches Online Solar Permitting System in Partnership with Symbium

Burbank, CA (July 23, 2024) - The City of Burbank's Community Development Department has expanded the online permit feature for residents to easily apply for and obtain instant-solar and battery storage system permits for single-family residential installations through a City partnership with Symbium Corp.

The streamlined online permitting process allows residents to check project eligibility, create a Burbank Online Permits account, apply for an instant solar permit with Symbium, and schedule inspections. Symbium's automated system verifies code compliance and prepares ready-to-use permits for roof-mounted single-family residential installations up to 38.4 kW.
