Mayor Mantello: City Accepting Bids for Purchase of City-Owned Foreclosed Properties

TROY, NY (Aug 5) - Mayor Carmella Mantello announced today that the City is accepting bids for the purchase of city-owned foreclosed properties. The 31 properties available for sale include 1 and 2 family homes and vacant residential land.

Mayor Mantello said, "The sale of foreclosed properties opens up exciting opportunities for investment in our neighborhoods. By bringing new activity to vacant land and inactive buildings, we can revitalize these areas and expand our community. I encourage interested individuals and families to explore the properties available for purchase and become part of Troy's growth and renewal."

There will be an Open House Event on August 27th for available properties. More details will come as the date approaches.

Bid proposals must be delivered by mail to the Office of the City Assessor, 433 River Street, Troy, New York 12180 by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4th. Proposals can also be delivered in-person to the City Assessor's Office.
