Lane and ramp closures scheduled for NB/SB I 49, evening and overnight, Aug. 26 29

Pavement repair work will take place on SB I-49 at Red Bridge Rd. and from Harry S. Truman Dr. to MO 150, and on NB I-49 at MO Route 150.

JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will perform the following pavement repair work at the following locations. All work is weather dependent.

Monday, Aug. 26 from (approximately) 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (evening and overnight)

  • Three lanes closed on SB I-49 at Red Bridge

Tuesday, Aug. 27 from (approximately) 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (evening and overnight)

  • Two lanes closed on SB I-49 from Harry S. Truman Dr. to MO Route 150

Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Thursday, Aug. 29 from (approximately) 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (evening and overnight)

  • Two lanes closed on NB I-49 at MO Route 150.
  • The ramp from MO Route 150 to NB I-49 will be closed.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
