4th Annual Pollinatorpalooza and 5K, Prophetstown State Park

Buzz over to the Aquatic Center where we'll "bee" celebrating pollinators of all kinds! Join us for free activities, hikes, and crafts, or come for the 5K ($15 per person, includes park admission.)

Events and programs

  • 10am-2pm under the white tents
  • Free with park admission
  • Crafts, hikes, and other activities offered with support from our community partners.
  • Food and snacks available for purchase

5K Overview

  • Starts at 8am
  • Marked route on flat, paved surfaces.
  • $15 per person to register, includes park admission, an event sticker and sunglasses. Proceeds support greenhouse improvements and native plant restoration in Indiana State Parks.
  • All 5K participants entered in a prize drawing with multiple winners!
  • This is an untimed, non-competitive run/ walk for all ages and abilities.

5K Additional Details

  • Registration fees payable over the phone M-Sun, 8:30am-4pm by calling (765)567-4919. Registration payment also accepted in person, in advance at the park Visitor Center.
  • An attendee release form is available to registrants via email ahead of the race or in person the day of the race.
  • No refunds (Swag can be picked up at the Visitor Center starting on 6/23 if you are unable to attend the event.)
  • The race will take place unless there is lightning in the area. Lightning delay info will be posted on the park's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/prophetstownsp
  • The course is stroller-friendly and dog friendly. All dogs must be kept on a 6ft leash.
  • We suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to the start time.
  • No day-of registrations. Registration closes on 6/21/24.
  • Parking available at the Aquatic Center lot.
  • Signage and volunteers will be staged along the route to assist in navigation.
  • There will be one water stop along the route.
