Bexar County to Host a Heroes Festival and Veterans Benefits Fair

AUSTIN - Today, Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board (VLB) Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is inviting the media to attend the Bexar County Heroes Festival in San Antonio on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The festival will host the Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run beginning at 7:00 a.m. followed by a Veterans Benefits Fair from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Veterans Land Board will be at this event to provide our Veteran and Military community an opportunity to learn more about the many benefits, services, and resources available. This Resource Fair features workshops and vendors who provide access to benefits, services, jobs, and other resources.
