Presidential Search Town Halls Begin This Week

Members of the Rutgers community are invited to participate in a series of listening sessions that begin Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Rutgers-New Brunswick as the university presidential search moves forward.

Town halls administered by the search firm WittKieffer will take place across Rutgers in December to provide community members the opportunity to offer feedback on the qualities and characteristics important in the next president of Rutgers University.

"The Board of Governors and the Presidential Search Committee are committed to facilitating a collaborative, open process that welcomes, values, and considers input from across the Rutgers community. We want everyone to have an opportunity to be heard," Amy L. Towers, chair of the Rutgers Board of Governors, said when the search committee members and town halls were announced. Towers is co-chair of the Presidential Search Committee with Alberto CuitiƱo, dean of the School of Engineering,
