BPD in the Community: National Night Out Night #1 Recap

National Night Out: Night 1 Recap!

Last night, our community came together for an incredible evening at National Night Out!

Families, friends, and neighbors joined Mayor Wu, Commissioner Cox, Members of the Command Staff, and other members of the department both sworn and civilian, to celebrate safety, unity, and community spirit throughout our great city.

During Night #1 there was plenty of fun games and activities like face painting and bouncy houses, delicious food and snacks including the BPD Ice Cream Truck (Thanks to HP Hood), live music and entertainment, and most importantly the chance to meet our officers and other City Elected Officials!

We also took the chance to celebrate select community members for their help in keeping our city safe throughout the past year!

Thank you to the Allston, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Mattapan, Roxbury, and Jamaica Plain communities who made the first night of National Night Out a huge success!

5:00-8:30 pm | South End (D-4) - Village Court Parking Lot at Castle Square (484 Tremont Street)

3:30-6:30 pm | Chinatown (A-1) - Tai Tung Village (230 Harrison Ave)

6:00-8:00 pm | North End (A-1) - Paul Revere Mall (The Prado/Hanover Street)

6:30-8:30 pm | East Boston (A-7) - LoPresti Park (33 Sumner Street)
