Kaleida Health First Hospital System to Earn Advanced Sterile Processing Certification

Kaleida Health is proud to be the first hospital system to earn a system-wide DNV sterile processing certification.

DNV Healthcare certification of an organization's sterile processing programming validates that the organization is in compliance with or exceeding the highest accepted quality standards in sterile processing practices.

Sterile processing plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality, safest care for our patients. Before a surgeon even makes their first incision, skilled sterile processing professionals have already properly decontaminated and sterilized every instrument and made sure they were functioning appropriately and available when needed.
