In August 2024, Infoblox commissioned the Enterprise Strategy Group by TechTarget (ESG) to explore how organizations can overcome the challenges of fragmented security and network operations using vendor-prebuilt integrations. The resulting report, "The Infoblox Ecosystem: Powerful Integrations to Simplify NetOps and SecOps in Hybrid, Multi-Cloud Environments", highlights the increasing complexity of enterprise environments due to cloud migration, IoT adoption and distributed operations. The report makes clear that many organizations today struggle with the inefficiencies and risks posed by disconnected tools and processes.
The study reveals that 84% of respondents view integration capabilities as essential when selecting security products. Infoblox addresses this need through its Ecosystem Program, which offers certified integrations with leading technology partners like Microsoft, Splunk and Terraform. By leveraging Infoblox-certified integrations, organizations can shorten the time required to implement integrations and maximize their investment in Infoblox solutions. In addition, they can achieve more efficient threat detection, reduce operational costs and simplify incident response.

A key example of an Infoblox-certified integration for SIEM (Figure 1) is the Infoblox App for Microsoft Sentinel, announced today on the Azure Marketplace. Microsoft Sentinel is a cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) solution. It is part of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, designed to help organizations collect, detect, investigate and respond to cybersecurity threats across their entire enterprise.
By deploying this SIEM-certified integration, Infoblox brings new capabilities to our joint customers. SecOps teams will be able to access AI-driven actionable insights and contextual network information derived from DNS, DHCP and IPAM(DDI) data to assist in incident investigation, all within the familiar Microsoft Sentinel user interface. This integration reduces alert fatigue for SecOps, accelerates investigation with contextual data and provides access to unparalleled DNS-based threat intelligence from Infoblox.
