Several Camden County routes to close soon for culvert replacements

Daily road closures planned on Routes A, D, N and W

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close four Camden County roadways in mid-November for culvert replacements. Each closure listed below is planned for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All lanes are expected to reopen each afternoon.

The current planned schedule of work is as follows:

  • Nov. 12
    • Route A: Closed from Armstrong to Booger Holler (approximately 2 miles south of U.S. Route 54).
    • Route A: Closed from Mountainview Road to Seven Springs Road (approximately 5 miles north of Richland).
  • Nov. 13
    • Route A: Closed from Michaels Way to Black Oak Road (just east of Route C).
    • Route N: Closed from Three Willis Road to Hazel Valley Drive (approximately 4.6 miles north of U.S. Route 54).
  • Nov. 14
    • Route W: Closed from Heise Road to Ambrosia Lane (approximately 1.2 miles north of U.S. Route 54).
  • Nov. 15
    • Route W: Closed from Cemetary Road to east Buffalo Linn Creek Road (approximately 0.8 miles north of U.S. Route 54).
  • Nov. 18
    • Route W: narrowed to one lane with flaggers approximately 0.07 miles north of U.S. Route 54.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
