On October 15, 2024, the New York State Police in Somers arrested a North Salem man for domestic abuse with a child present.
At approximately 7:05 a.m., Troopers responded to a residence in North Salem for a report of a domestic dispute involving a knife. Investigation determined, Brendan H. Clarke, age 33, threatened the victim with a knife during the dispute with a child present.
Clarke was charged with Menacing in the 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, and Act In Manner to Injure Child Less Than 17, all class A misdemeanors.
Clarke was arraigned before the town of North Salem Court and released on his own recognizance.
