The Secretary and Foreign Minister discussed the latest developments in ongoing efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza that would secure the return of hostages and allow for a surge of humanitarian assistance. The Secretary emphasized the importance of a ceasefire agreement to furthering broader regional stability, including by unlocking the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the conflict across the Blue Line.
