Section of Main Street closed for water main maintenance

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has closed Main Street from N. 1st Street to N. 2nd Street for water main maintenance.

Traffic will be detoured to N. 1st Street and N. 3rd Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.

The water main maintenance is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 10 p.m.
