November: Specialty Plate Spotlight

ADOT has more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a range of worthy causes or charities. To boost awareness, we showcase one specialty license plate each week on social media.

We call this the "Specialty Plate Spotlight" and here are the plates that were featured in November:

• Curing childhood cancer: $17 goes to the childhood cancer and rare childhood disease research fund. Recipient is the Arizona Department of Health Services.
• End Alzheimer's: $17 goes to research to promote the scientific understanding and early detection of Alzheimer's disease and to educate the Arizona residents about disease management. Recipient is the Alzheimer's Disease Research Fund/Arizona Alzheimer's Research Center.
• A state of good character: $17 goes to a special fund for character education programs. Recipient is the Arizona Department of Education.
