Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III will travel to Scott Air Force base today to preside over the TRANSCOM Change of Command where he will deliver remarks recognizing the outgoing commander Gen. Jacqueline D. Van Ovost, the incoming commander Gen. Randy Reed, and the thousands of American service members across TRANSCOM's Area of Responsibility. Sec. Austin's remarks will be live-streamed on defense.gov at 11:00 a.m. EDT and posted to defense.gov after the ceremony.
