Shaffer named 2025 Illinois REALTORS® Board Liaison

Brandon Shaffer was appointed 2025 Illinois REALTORS® Board Liaison. He will assist the Leadership Team in the evaluation of the performance of the three special committees and its leadership. Those committees include the Commercial and Property Management Committee, Affordable Housing and Economic Development Committee and Local Government Affairs Committee.

Shaffer is a broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Central Illinois, with offices in Bloomington/Normal and Champaign. He is a member and past president of the Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association, and has been awarded the Berkshire Hathaway Presidents Circle Team Award and was recognized as being part of the top Berkshire Hathaway Team Nationally for teams of five or less.

Shaffer is a member of the REALTOR® Political Action Committee President's Circle and 2023 Hall of Fame.

Actively involved in REALTOR® association work at the state level, Shaffer is serving a third term on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors. His association involvement includes service as 2023 vice chair and 2024 chair of the Business Issues Forum, 2022 chair of the Local Government Affairs Committee, 2023 vice chair and 2024 and 2025 chair of the REEF Board of Directors, 2024 and 2025 chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, 2019 vice chair and 202 chair of the Leadership Development Working Group, and prior service on the Nominating Committee, Conference and Expo Working Group, Continuing Education Task Force, Finance Committee, YPN and 2024 RPAC Trustees. Shaffer is also a State Legislative Contact to State Senator Sally Turner.
