Low water pressure on Cumberland Drive for fire hydrant repair

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water is repairing a fire hydrant on Cumberland Drive causing low water service pressure for the vicinity between Charlotte Street and Crossland Avenue. A water outage may also be possible during the repair work.

The northbound lane of Cumberland Drive is also closed between Charlotte Street and Crossland Avenue and alternating lanes are established.

Motorists are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.

The fire hydrant repair work is anticipated to be finished, water pressure restored and the lane reopened by approximately 1 p.m.
