Ceremonies on the occasion of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day

On 23 October 2024, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, led members of Team Thailand in Japan to participate in the wreath-laying and homage-paying ceremony on the occasion of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day at Nittaiji Temple, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Other participants included the Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka, the Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Fukuoka, the Heads of Thai Government Agencies in Japan, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, along with spouses, as well as the Honorary Consul-General of Thailand in Nagoya and team members, Thai students, Thai residents in Japan and the Japanese Friends of Thailand. All participants also took part in the religious ceremony and a meditation session commemorating King Chulalongkorn.
