Election Day Holiday Schedule

All City of Chesapeake offices, courts, community centers, libraries, and Chesapeake Animal Services will be closed on Tuesday, November 5, for Election Day. The Chesapeake Visitor Center will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be no changes to trash collection schedules. Normal operating schedules will resume on Wednesday, November 6.

Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Don't forget to bring a valid ID. For more information on voting in Chesapeake, call the Voter Registrar's Office at 757-382-8000 or visit the November 5 Voter Guide.
