Re-appeal to locate woman missing from Forest Lodge

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's inner west.

Chingi Yin, aged 22, was last sighted walking south on Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, about 9.15pm on Saturday 19 October 2024.

She was previously seen at a home on Bridge Road, Forest Lodge, on Friday 18 October 2024.

When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified on Thursday 24 October 2024 and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

There are concerns for Chingi's welfare.

Chingi is described as being of Asian appearance, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black dress with long sleeves, black knee-length boots and was carrying a white bag.

Chingi is known to frequent the Forest Lodge, Camperdown and Sydney CBD areas.

Police are appealing for anyone with information into her whereabouts, CCTV or dashcam footage of Old South Head Road, Rose Bay, south of Jacobs Ladder towards the Macquarie Lighthouse, at the time of the sighting, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
