Polymeric Products Traded on IME

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, the IME's oil and petrochemical trading floor witnessed trade of 45,303 tonnes of polymeric products, 30,000 tonnes of lube cut, 2,000 tonnes of bitumen, 535 tonnes of granular sulfur, 100 tonnes of sulfur lumps and 52 tonnes of base oil.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 68,700 tonnes of sponge iron, 7,800 tonnes of galvanized steel sheets, 3,000 tonnes of steel blooms, 1,750 tonnes of U-channels, 1,600 tonnes of color rolled steel sheets, 675 tonnes of angle bars, 630 tonnes of copper rods, 400 tonnes of tinplate sheets, 200 tonnes of CRC, 126 tonnes of HRC, 50 tonnes of aluminum alloy ingots and 10 tonnes of coil rebars.

Also, the IME sold 32,225 tonnes of cement on its cement trading floor.

Based on this report, the IME saw trade of 50,950 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 50,000 tonnes of fine iron ore, 25,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate, 3,744 tonnes of styrene monomer and 22 tonnes of PVC on its open auction trading floor.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 13,500 tonnes of bitumen and 1,000 tonnes of cement.

Last but not least was the IME's side market 1,486 tonnes of auto body scraps, 500 tonnes of steel scraps, 275 tonnes of butadiene, 132 plastic barrel wastes, 100 tonnes of molybdenum oxide, 2 tonnes of copper scraps and 2 tonnes of cast iron scraps traded on it.
