Child Car Seat Safety Checks in Broome County

The New York State Police in Troop "C" will be hosting two child car seat checks in Broome County.

Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 10:00am - 1:00pm

Troopers will be at the 'Paws for a Cause' dog walk at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, NY.

Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00am - 2:00pm

Troopers will be at 'Touch a Truck' at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point, NY.

Troopers who are trained child passenger safety technicians will be available to assist with car seat installation or answer any questions you may have.

National Child Passenger Week begins September 15 and continues through September 21. Members of the New York State Police is committed to educating parents on the most suitable car seat for your child's age, height, and weight. The right car seat can save your child's life in a crash.
