President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska met with American actor, producer and UN Messenger of Peace Michael Douglas and his son Dylan.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in our country, cooperation with partners, in particular with the United States, and support for Ukraine.

Special attention was paid to the results of the Fourth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, where Michael and Dylan Douglas became special guests of the panel "Child Safety in the Family." Olena Zelenska spoke about the preparations for this year's event and the achievements of the previous three Summits.

Michael Douglas expressed his admiration for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, who have demonstrated resilience since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

"You are a source of inspiration and a wonderful reminder to our country of what democracy means, of how everyone should be responsible. Democracy is a lot of work for citizens," the actor said.

Dylan Douglas added that their family is rooting for Ukraine, and that is the reason they came here.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the actor and his son for their support and willingness to join in spreading information about our state.
