Seventh-Place Day in Canada for Gradient Racing Acura NSX

July 15, 2024 - BOWMANVILLE, Ont.
  • Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 team recovers from opening lap contact to finish seventh at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
  • Sheena Monk and Stevan McAleer score second top-ten finish of the season

The Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 scored their second top-10 finish of the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season, finishing seventh at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Sheena Monk started the race in ninth position aboard the #66 Gradient Racing Acura. Unfortunately, she was spun by contact from the #55 on the first lap of the race, dropping her to the back of the field. Sheena would make up a couple of spots before handing over to Stevan McAleer to finish out the two-hour, 40-minute event.

McAleer would continue the march through the field, dispatching drivers en route to a P7 finish at the line. The result is their second top-10 of the 2024 season, following a stellar last-to-fourth race at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in April.
