PennDOT Completes Juniata County Bridge Project on Route 22/322

​Clearfield, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) completed work on a bridge rehabilitation project along Route 22 in Walker Township, Juniata County yesterday. The project saw improvements to six bridges in Fermanagh and Walker township that improved the ride quality and extended the life of the structures.

All lanes between the Port Royal and McAlisterville/Mifflintown are now open. Overall work on this project consisted of deck replacements, approach work, pier, superstructure, and substructure repairs, paving, guide rail installation, drainage improvements, pavement markings, and miscellaneous construction. HRI, Inc. of State College was the contractor on this $11.6 million project. Construction started in June 2023.
