PRIORITIES: Lobbyist Kevin Coughlin Ditches Ohio to Pal Around with Party Bosses and Donors

Kevin Coughlin is putting his career as a lobbyist to good use this week at the RNC, as he works to brush elbows with any party boss and wealthy donor he can find.

According to an interview with National Journal, Coughlin said he had a tough decision between "should I be home or should I be here," but ultimately decided that he should be "taking the time to network with people" and "meet a lot of the donors I've talked to on the phone."

"Coughlin can't seem to get his priorities straight. Rep. Emilia Sykes understands that this election will be won by actually meeting voters where they are at in her community, not by sucking up to the wealthy and powerful."
