Glamour US Launches Interactive Election Series On The Concerns of Women in America

NEW YORK, NY--September 5, 2024 - Time and again we are told that women will decide the fate of presidential elections. Women are the largest group of registered voters and turn out in the highest numbers to cast their ballots. In a new landmark poll, Glamour US and YouGov ask 2,000 women about the issues that matter to them most this election. And in an immersive and interactive election series, launched today, Glamour journeys into the lives and concerns of women across America including the journey of an abortion, the workers behind work, and the unwavering black woman voter.

Samantha Barry, Glamour's editor in chief, says: "In our latest editorial series, we delve deep into the pivotal role of women voters in the 2024 election. At Glamour, we have a long tradition of illuminating the voices and experiences of women, from those running for office to those shaping the outcomes at the ballot box. This year, as women continue to influence the political landscape in unprecedented ways, our series showcases the diverse factors driving their decisions, the issues that could swing their votes, and captures the nuanced stories behind women's choices-while highlighting the profound impact they will have on the future of democracy."

Natasha Pearlman, Glamour's executive editor, says: "Our poll findings show the vital importance of listening to women-because we have immense political power-and not stereotyping their views. Women are often united over big electoral issues, such as gun control and paid leave, and at the same time do not split along party lines on topics such as abortion. Both parties should be paying attention to Glamour's series, in order to deliver policies and progress that advance the voters who help put them in government."
