Today the London Stock Exchange Group and BEING network welcomes the Institute of Directors, City Black Employee Reserve Group, & Citi to jointly celebrate the Global Black Experience Through the Lenses of Multinational Organisations.
As a leading global financial institution, the London Stock Exchange Group recognizes the importance of inclusivity and diversity in fostering innovation and growth. We are thrilled to host this event as it is an opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the Black community to our shared success and to promote a more inclusive future.
CBERG is a vibrant, collaborative network of key individuals managing Black ERGs or Black sub-groups within broader ethnic minority ERGs. The network takes pride in the extensive reach and depth of their membership, representing over thirty financial services firms across the City. It is comprised of Black ERG members from over 30 corporate members ranging from Barclays, UBS, and Blackrock to Google.
The Institute of Directors (IoD) launched an Emerging Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) Special Interest Group to increase board representation on public and private boards in the UK. IoD aims to identify, inspire, develop and place talented professionals from diverse backgrounds onto boards across a range of sectors, from charities through to FTSE 250 companies.
