Daley College Student Leaders Represent City Colleges at Illinois Community College Board Student Orientation

David Ramirez, City Colleges' student trustee on the Board of Trustees, was recently selected for another leadership role. This year, David will serve as chair of the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB)'s Student Advisory Committee (SAC).

Students who are leaders on their campus are selected to participate in the SAC to weigh in on ICCB policies and share issues impacting students on their campus. His duties will also include bringing the meetings to order, setting the agenda for meetings, and helping lead the meetings. Additionally, Daley College will be invited to host an in-person ICCB SAC meeting.

David was selected for the position when the SAC met this year on September 20 in Mattoon, Illinois. He was joined by Daley College's Student Government Association President Angel Coscia, who was at the student orientation to represent all of City Colleges' SGA presidents.
