Street closures and permitted events for August 29- September 4

Here are the locations of upcoming permitted events and road closures so you can plan accordingly. Please drive slowly and safely in construction zones and around crowded events. If a weather event occurs on the anticipated start date, the street closures for construction activity will be delayed until the weather clears.

Saturday, August 31

• 601 North Flower P2 Parking lot closed
  • Event hours: 10 a.m-9 p.m.

• East End Promenade
  • Event hours: 12-7 p.m.

Sunday, September 1

• 601 North Flower P2 Parking lot closed
  • Carnaval Tlayacapan 2024; Event hours: 10 a.m-9 p.m.

Through August 30

• One lane only in both eastbound and westbound directions on Civic Center Drive between Fairview Street and Bristol Street due to paving bike lanes
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day

Through August 30

• Northbound lane closure on Mortimer Street between 4th and 5th streets and full closure on 5th Street between Mortimer and Minter streets for OC Streetcar construction
  • 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Through September 6

• Lane reductions in both directions on Bristol Street at Alton Avenue for construction
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day

Through September 30

• One traffic lane only on northbound Bristol Street between Santa Clara Avenue and Memory Lane for pipeline construction
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
