Health course kicks off in Central African Republic

European Union Training Mission (EUTM RCA) in coordination with Central African Republic Armed Forces (FACA) organized the opening ceremony of the First Degree Technical Certificate - Health, on August 6th, 2024, at Camp Kassai in Bangui.

Colonel CUSTÓDIO, head of the Education Pillar of EUTM RCA attended the event alongside Colonel KOUADONGUI, Director General of the Health and Social Service of the National Army, Colonel BOUA, representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Colonel TEIA, Director of Kassai Field Officers.

FACA and the National Gendarmerie have selected trainees for approximately seven months of training in nursing and advanced combat resuscitation techniques. Nearly 50% of the cadets are women, which reflecting the commitment to equal opportunities and respect for women.

Colonel Marco CUSTÓDIO, extended his best wishes to the students:

"I congratulate you for choosing this path. We look forward to seeing the positive impact you will have on the armed forces and your community. Let this course be just the beginning of a long and rewarding career in the service of health and the nation.
