Campus Art

"Gateway," by artist Ray Katz, located at the west end of Centennial Mall, is one of several new sculptures temporarily installed on Main and Health Science Campuses. The sculptures are a part of the President's Commission on Campus Design and Environment, which sponsors the annual outdoor sculpture exhibition. Since the exhibition began 19 years ago, approximately 180 sculptures have rotated through the display on UToledo campuses, and permanent works have become part of the University's collection, courtesy of benefactors, colleges and departments.
