Pavement Maintenance: Fog Seal 8/14/24

The final step in the chip seal process is the fog seal. This will coat the entire road from gutter to gutter with a sealant. This makes the surface consistent in color as well as sealing the surface. The affected areas will be Main Street, Loto Street, Grady Street, Lorraine Ave, Platt, Ione and Fargo Street. This work will be done by Jackson County starting the morning of August 14th and should be completed by the early afternoon. Public Works appreciates your cooperation in not parking along any of these roads during the application and drying process.
