Henry Ford Health Appoints New Board Members Amid Historic Joint Venture

DETROIT - Henry Ford Health today announced the appointment of Dr. Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, FACHE, and Eugene F. LoVasco, JD, CLU, to its Board of Directors, part of the joint venture agreement between Henry Ford Health and Ascension Michigan, which became official on Oct. 1.

"The addition of Dr. Tersigni and Mr. LoVasco to our Board reflects the caliber of leadership and vision that will drive our organization forward," said Bob Riney, President and CEO of Henry Ford Health. The appointment of these two new members is a testament to our values as a combined organization."

Dr. Tersigni, Executive Chairman of Ascension Capital, LLC, oversees strategic investments to enhance clinical outcomes and financial performance. Previously, as the first President and CEO of Ascension, he led its growth into the largest Catholic healthcare system in the world. A Detroit native, Dr. Tersigni led St. John Providence Health and held leadership roles with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Saint Louis University.

Mr. LoVasco, President of LoVasco Consulting Group, specializes in executive benefit planning and insurance strategies for business succession and estate protection. With decades of leadership experience, he founded and scaled successful insurance firms, including ALCOS, which was acquired by Brown & Brown of Detroit. Mr. LoVasco also serves on Boards for Racquet Up Detroit, the Catholic Foundation of Michigan, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
