SATURDAY, OCT. 5

MAKE-A-WISH 5K
Cobb County hosts the Make-A-Wish 5K fundraiser to help grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. The race is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. Race begins at 8 a.m. Walk-up registration begins at 7 a.m. More details and to registration.

TRUCK-A-PALOOZA
Explore SWAT trucks, fire trucks, and other emergency vehicles during Truck-A-Palooza on Saturday, Oct. 5. From 10 am - 3 pm, children can climb on trucks and interact with first responders in the back parking lot of the Town Center Mall in Kennesaw. This event is rain or shine!
Entry is $5 per person or $20 per family (up to 6 members). Tickets are available at the gate. Cash or credit card accepted. Children under 2 years are free.

POWERS FERRY CORRIDOR CLEANUP
Help pick up litter in the Power's Ferry Corridor in the adopted mile around Terrell Mill Road, 1310 Powers Ferry Road, Marietta. Read more and sign up here.

RECYCLING DROP-OFF
There will be a Pop-up recycling collection at the Kroger, 1310 Powers Ferry Road, Marietta where you can drive up and drop off items for recycling (paper, cardboard, plastics) and hard-to-recycle items in Hefty ReNew Bags. Read more here .
