Public Safety Officer of the Month

The City of Tomball was proud to recognize Lieutenant Kye Rymer as the First Responder of the Month at the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Luncheon held on Oct. 4. This prestigious award highlights his outstanding dedication to leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the department.

Lieutenant Rymer is known not only for his knowledge but for his commitment to sharing it with others. By empowering his team through continuous training and education, he has created an environment of innovation and adaptability. On two separate occasions, training sessions led by Lieutenant Rymer expanded into shift-wide initiatives, bringing valuable lessons from both emergency and non-emergency situations to the entire team.

This recognition honors Lieutenant Rymer's unwavering dedication to his team and his efforts to strengthen the department through leadership and mentorship.
