Cement Ranks First on the Second Day of the Week

On Sunday, July 21, 2024, the IME's cement trading floor witnessed trade of 706,418 tonnes of cement.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on its metals and minerals trading floor 146,080 tonnes of HRC, 30,500 tonnes of hot briquetted sponge iron (HBSI), 10,000 tonnes of aluminum oxide, 4,375 tonnes of aluminum ingots, 475 tonnes of aluminum hydroxide, 335 tonnes of zinc ingots, 100 tonnes of CRC, 100 tonnes of low-grade copper and 10 tonnes of coil rebars.

Moreover, the IME sold 3,000 tonnes of sodium sulfate, 1,060 tonnes of copper cathode, 200 tonnes of molybdenum sulfur and 15 tonnes of precious metals concentrate.

Based on this report, the IME saw trade of 5,755 tonnes of polymeric products, 743 tonnes of chemicals, 487 tonnes of slack wax, 250 tonnes of bitumen, 212 tonnes of paraffin wax and 160 tonnes of argon on its oil and petrochemical trading floor.

It's worth noting as well that the IME's export ring saw trade of 34,390 tonnes of bitumen and 6,000 tonnes of granular sulfur.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 750 tonnes of bituminous anodes (used in aluminum reduction industry) traded on it.
