Vote for Your Favorites in Four Categories in Our Alexandria 275 Photo Contest
Starting in July, we asked the public to submit their best photos of Alexandria through their lens. After over 80 people submitted photos, we have narrowed them down to the top photos in each category, and now it's your turn to vote for the winners! Voting is open now until Tuesday, November 19 at 11:59 p.m. at alexandriava.gov/ALX275. Winners will be picked for the following categories:
- Historical Landmarks
- Community Life
- Events and Celebrations
- Natural Beauty
Winners will be announced at the Holiday Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 23, at Market Square starting at 6 p.m., and the images will be shared on social networks and on our website the following week. Winners will be contacted by a member of the City of Alexandria's Office of Communications and Community Engagement team and awarded a ALX275 goodie bag.
