NOPD Child Abuse Unit Seeking Suspect

NOPD's Child Abuse Unit is seeking assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an indecent behavior with a juvenile investigation.

Wanted is Matthew Young (pictured Black male, DOB: 10-11-1965). Investigators say Young was developed as suspect and an arrest warrant has been issued for him in an ongoing investigation involving indecent behavior with a juvenile under 13 years of age.

Young is also sought as a person of interest in a separate sexual battery investigation and a buccal swab search warrant has been issued for Young as well.

Young is described as being 5 foot 8 inches tall with brown eyes and weighs 132 pounds. His last known location was the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
