Bangkok, 20 September 2024 - Today, five private companies from ASEAN Member States were recognised with the prestigious ASEAN Red Ribbon for Outstanding Workplace (ARROW) Award for their exemplary practices in creating non-discriminatory workplaces for people living with HIV. These companies were also honoured for their effective HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention programmes.

Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio Cultural Community H.E. He emphasised their significant contribution to achieving the target of zero HIV transmissions in ASEAN, in line with the ASEAN Leaders Declaration on Ending Inequalities and Getting on Track to End AIDS by 2030.

Established in 2016, the ARROW Award is organised biennially by the ASEAN Business Coalition on HIV and AIDS (ASEAN-BCA), an entity founded by the ASEAN Labour Ministers Meeting in 2014. This Award celebrates enterprises that have set high standards in workplace policies and practices related to HIV and AIDS.
