Detectives Continuing to Investigate Drowning Death of 4 Year Old Girl

Youth Services detectives are continuing to investigate Thursday evening's drowning death of 4-year-old Mariam Jabateh in an apartment complex pool on Arbor Knoll Boulevard. Jabateh's mother reported leaving her on the steps of the pool for a few seconds before people started yelling that she was drowning.

Jabateh was transported to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital where she died.
